I suppose in an imagination sense they will.
We will always have the Lounge.:D:p
There is just so much in that film that dealt with the war it is difficult to look at it without a historical perspective---for instance the Vichy water comment. In its context it is funny as all get out. :D

I know its just a film but as a World War II buff I can't help getting such a big laugh out such things as Major Strasser's Luftwaffe uniform. In actuality he would have been Sturmbannführer Strasser of the SD (Sicherheitsdienst, or SS Security Service) and would have worn either the field gray version of Allgemeine SS uniform or civvies. Then there's the flashback to Rick and Ilsa's days in Paris where Ilsa is frightened by the sound of German guns in the distance and Rick explains that it must be the "new 77 gun." The 77mm field gun was an obsolete World War I piece that was no longer in service with the Wehrmacht in 1940.
