If the gussets were of a thinner/softer hide, I could enjoy them more. Most I've seen/owned have the same heavy leather inside, which to me, is overkill and uncomfortable. Each to his/her own though...
The gusseted sleeves on my Langlitz Columbia use a thinner single ply of leather for the web.
