I decided on the Tuesday I wanted a new fedora. I ordered wednesday and wore it on thursday, they even delivered to my place of work and the price was ?Ǭ£43 including post, packaging and tax.

Oh God Vespasian....I can hear my bank account whimpering as I type. When I read they did fur felt fedoras for ?Ǭ£37, I was hooked.....Must resist!.....
Is the felt soft?....Is it stiff or floppyish? I need to know! Is it lined??

The felt is kind of mid range, stiff enough to hold its shape well, soft enough not to be uncomfy. The brim will not snap down at the back and sides, but breaks well at the front. It isnt lined but so far as I can see the lined ones are indeed a bit pricey. Its the same fur as my original borsalino which was a bit costly so my guess is felt, not wool felt. I kinda like it. I'm actually looking for a decently priced indy fedora now so I can do a whole year round look. My original indy borsalino is a bit tight and tapering sadly. Ive got a stretcher to work on it so Ill see how the old dog goes.
