Tweed Jacket and a Straw Hat?

We're in the midst of an unusually prolonged period of cool, sunny weather here in Sonny Crockett's hometown, and I'm happily sporting my tweed and corduroy jackets, often with vests. The same question hits me every morning, though: a straw hat with a tweed or corduroy? I'm not talking Panamas but rather VS Milans, Peters Bros. Stratoliner-style hemps, etc. Any thoughts out there on this all-important question?

I live in a lousy climate with heat 10 months of the year, so I don't usually put tweed and a straw hat together. If it's cool enough for tweed, I seize the chance to wear a felt hat. But I imagine that a hemp Stratoliner would look pretty good with a tweed jacket.
