Some are so bad as was the last Star Trek series Enterprise's theme song.

The writing was on the wall when the fans complained & the Producers were at a loss as to why everyone seemed to hate that theme.
The again, initially , the show was even called 'startrek', jsut ENTERPRISE.

I'm sorry Mr. Bern, but every TV show has a theme song. Even though the song may not be very pronounced, it is there. A theme song doesn't nessicarily have to be in the begining of a show. It can be in transitions, altered for different dramatic effectsm and even sub in when the director and producers are too cheap to buy a song license.

Read an article some years ago, New York Times? Wall Street Journal? that tv theme songs are disappearing, and Everybody Loves Raymond was cited, as was Seinfeld. Coupla notes does not a theme song make, the tv producer stressed. I don't have cable so I'm mad Darcy's Wild Life moved there. Like Fresh Prince of Bel Air, it's an explanatory theme song.

That's a great song, penned by Joss Whedon, the show's writer and director if I recall right. I've got the series on DVD; man, it's a great show!
