Wow, that's really nice. Thanks for sharing it!

How do you ensure that the turquoise you use isn't irradiated Chinese stuff?

I have relationships with the most trusted dealers in the business.I also have stones that I have collected over 40 years of making jewelry.I also have some of the most knock your socks off beautiful spider-web Turqouise that I hand carried back from China in the early 1990's.When God made turquoise he didn't put all the low grade stuff in China.

I hope you don't mind looking I have lots of pictures.

This is black web number eight, the most rare and valuable number eight that was ever mined. This is the turquoise that inspired the first fake Turqouise that was made of plastic.

This Turqouise was cut from a five pound nugget that was found in Nevada. It was the only stone found that looked like this. The watch bracelet is 18k gold and has large diamonds.

Thank you, Michaelshane. As a rock hound, I LOVE it.
I did not mean to imply that stones from China are inherently inferior to those from the USA.
I have just read that some stones from China are enhanced using radiation and are not as nice,
especially in the long run, as some naturally beautiful turquoise. I know there are unique stones
all over this Earth.

Thanks again for sharing.

Chewed Bolo

Just discovered this thread. Really beautiful things.

My Dog tried to eat one of my Bolo Ties.
Here is what is left:

Is it possible to have the braid and tips replaced?

I do have some nice intact pieces as well if I get around to photographing them.
