Turbans

I love turbans. People don't wear then right nowadays. I get annoyed when I see people with them pulled over their forhead. It looks so much better when the hair line shows. I got a pattern from Evadress. I cut it out last week and plan to make it in a burgandy velvet with grey satin lining.

I don't know I think I associate them with my mom's friend who had cancer.
And I don't think they would look right on me. Matter of fact I have trouble with hats of any kind looking like they belong on my head.

I love the look of turbans, but I have never worn one! If I get my hands on a nice one, I would like to wear it with my vintage, Carmen Miranda fruit basket earrings.
