I'll bite. I've got plenty of diving photos from my former life. Surely we are all familiar with the um...uniform. This one isn't the most gratuitous. Taken by my teammate from 5 meter tower during my 10 meter meet. 1993 University of Hawaii. Pre digital!

Most of my 80's running shorts were pretty (in retrospect) um, interesting. Comfortable yes, but today they'd get lol'd out of just about anywhere...

OK, found one on my pal's Facebook. Yes, we ran like this. I'm the skinny af guy on the bottom.
My buddy - a wrestler - ran in those boots. My Bro just finished his first stint through USMC bootcamp in Parris Island, later to go through OCS in Quantico. Best shape ever, but holy eff, look at those outfits

Nah, I don't think so. The "fanny pack" was mostly a 1990's thing (at least in the USA). Cargo pants; however, have been issued by militaries all around the world for many decades. Both axis and allied forces used them in WWII.
