I've followed protocol and not put in the link, but I noticed on feebay people paying big money for imitation old Levi's that are trashed to resemble a pair that spent 80 years at the bottom of a mineshaft or something, and they look pretty bad, even down to the homemade patching of specially designed rips and tears...now I can fully understand someone coughing up a few hundred for some NOS Levi's that turned up in a trunk untouched for decades, but this strikes me as ridiculous...what is the POINT?? Any old pair would look the same with enough damage! In my day we had the decency to buy a new pair, put them on in the bath to shrink them, end up with blue legs for days from the dye, and wear them until they faded....this current fashion seems idiotic to me...am I wrong?
