Could it be the small size vintage hats are in less demand so there are more on the market? Also more dead stock survivors?
The average over the population has gotten bigger. My father was a 7 1/2, my older brother is a 7 3/8 while my son & I are 7 5/8. I'm the shortest of the 4 at now 5' 9.5", used to be 5' 10"! My brother is tallest at 6' 2". My maternal grandfather, who started this whole hat thing for me, was a 7 3/8 & he was about 6' 1".mayserwegener said:So peoples heads got bigger?
