What a delightful choice!!!! Hear,hear!!! He was THE best!!I have been to many a concert of the Romeros and others,but nobody could beat Andres.

Yeah, as much as I enjoy Pepe Romero and family (who I had the chance to see several months ago), I doubt he/they could compare to Segovia. Romero might be a better player on a technical level, but as far as influence on the history of the guitar, no one comes close to the Maestro...

Oh, picking one is so hard. I would however really have liked to have attended the inauguration of Teddy Roosevelt. Such an amazing man, contributed so much, I am just completely awestruck by him.:eusa_clap

Hi Folks,

Would one be required to survive the historical event? If not, I would like to be an obscure private in a North Carolina regiment, in Pettigrew's Division, at Pickett's Charge.

I think it was William Faulkner who said that every boy, growing up in the South since 1863, has had the ability to transport himself, in his mind, back to that place and time.

I am no exception.
