Carrie, if I find alpaca itchy, but I want a warmer lining, can the alpaca be ordered with a layer of cotton drill over it? Or would you you say heavy strome wool is the way to go?

Aero doesn't do double linings like this, but it likely wouldn't solve the problem--if you can feel the Alpaca through your shirt, then it would probably poke you through the cotton drill as well. An alternative for a warm lining that may not be irritating is the moleskin...it is quite warm and very soft.

Moleskin is a great idea. How does it compare to corduroy or heavy stroke lined jackets for warmth?

Carrie, my grainy russet jacket is softer than the smooth black Vicenza jacket. The smooth was a little stiff by comparison. Is this usually the case in your experience? If I had to do it over, I think I would have chosen grainy in my most recent purchase.

Yes...the smooth Vicenza is a bit stiffer...for soft Vicenza, the grainy is the ticket!

What a beautiful selection of jackets and lovely selection of liners too. Always think the liner chosen by the new owner really makes the jacket personal and yours. Makes me want another jacket but 6 jackets is really more than I can handle as it is!

I would like to order a couple of jackets in the italian leather - there is a "grainy" and a smooth grade?

they would be off the rack sizing at 44R.

What are the options for the linings?

thanks
