I've always thought of Vicenza as a 'dry' leather, but does it have some waxes inside?

My Vicenza jacket arrived in the winter, and I wore it often through the spring and it's always been stiff (not unpleasantly so.)

I wore it yesterday, and the weather suddenly turned hot by afternoon. Once it did, I noticed that the jacket felt lambskin/textile levels of soft, which was a shock.

Vicenza is will definitely show some reaction to temperature changes! While Vicenza is not nearly as waxy as other other leathers (like CXL and Bainbridge), the fat/oil in the leather is enough to make it moderately pliable in cold weather and super soft when the weather heats up. Enjoy

Indeed! One of my biggest criticizms of vic is that it often appears quite flat....this jacket does indeed show a variety of high and lowlights and it's just plain gorgeous.
