I'm going for a Drifter in the Horween Havana Brown steerhide--but with horn buttons rather than a zip, also I've eliminated the biswing back and halfbelt and just kept the curved yoke and side belts for a less fussy back. Antique brass for pocket zip and buckles and sewn with matching thread (as you know) and a Robertson Hunting Ancient Tartan lining..... can't wait....

Thanks. Yes, order is placed. I've been emailing Amanda at AL for a while--she's great !--and finalised everything a couple of weeks ago-- jacket should be with me around the end of the month. Good luck with yours !

I've been dealing with Thurston and Wade and they've been very patient. I must have tweaked my orders half a dozen times after my "final order" and they never complained.

Look, we're all human. We all get upset and lose our tempers. It happens. All I can say is that Thurston has been very professional and helpful with me.

Yeah.. I don't get it. Getting a 'try on' jacket should be a great way to get the closest fit possible. Most jacket companies or outlets do not even offer that service.

I haven't had any experience with Insurrection, but the posts seem to have been uniformly positive, so your comments earlier do sound rather out of character of the shop staff.

You demanded that your custom Aero jacket be made within .25 inches to your specified lengths. This isn't a product that Aero offers. As an Aero retailer, we cannot offer you something that Aero doesn't offer. When this was explained to you, you demanded a refund, despite the fact that you had received a fit jacket and a detailed custom fitting. Although we don't offer refunds after a fit jacket has been sent and the custom fitting has been completed, we are making an exception in this case and your money will be promptly refunded once the fit jacket has been returned to us.
