All too often major complaints are based on unrealistic or impossible expectations that cannot be delivered by anyone. My understanding of the FL is that it is based on a forum to share and assist one another in a positive way. Should dhisharp want to post again, he might want to review "RULES OF THE HOUSE (To serve, support and protect all our great members in here)" before doing so. It is to Insurrection's credit that they took the high road in this specific instance even though they weren't required to so.

Carrie, thats my fave jacket....do you guys install your own bling, or do you outsource it?
Thx.

This is done by us...the Aero J106s looks spectacular with spot and stud work. Our jewels are NOS 1930s glass!!!

The Aero J106 is truly one of the finest D-pocket jackets EVER made and the Aero Two-Tone J106 is absolutely stunning! The Aero J106 can be made with or without shoulder gussets!

The jacket looks fine on you, as do your specs. I was thinking, though, that you might want to give Thurston a call and demand another quarter inch on it. Let us know how you make out.

Reeks1, what are the measurements of your test jacket, particularly back and sleeve lengths? The test jacket looks good to me, but could the sleeves be a bit longer?

I agree, by 0.5" at least, if not 1" , to allow for wrinkling. If you're going with the length in the photo, they could get too short rather quickly.

Gents, I don't recall the numbers, but we're adding...I think 1" to the sleeves, .5" at least. Leaving the body length alone.

I have the exacts at my office. Sadly, I'm headed there now. I'll post the figures once I have them.
Thanks for you help!

Ok. fit jacket sleeves were 25.25 and I'm going to 26"; back 25.5, and I'm staying at a 25.5

Now the "waiting is the hardest part".

I wouldn't do that to a fellow Jerseyite. I was thinking that when you've got a lot of people, known world-wide for their expertise, telling you that because of the nature of the beast (a horse) they can't guarantee anything under a half-inch but are willing to send you a test jacket, it's probably time to stop shaking your fist at the heavens and just go with it or not. My old man used to have a more colorful way of putting it, but it wouldn't be repeatable in polite society.

Hah. The good news is, I'm not looking for a .25 adjustment.

Any real difference between normal HH and "extra heavy"?

I requested extra heavy for my Half Belt, just thinking it would make a more solid, bulletproof (pun intended) jacket.

Again, I defer to your collective expertise.

Thanks!
