Who am I to disagree?

I am impressed and a bit jealous. Is it overwhelming in person? Do they let everyone sit in it or did you have a VIP situation working?

It's a few bucks extra for the cockpit tour. My wife and I had it to ourselves with our guide. Obviously, it dwarfs everything in the building. Its length is not as impressive as its wingspan or vertical stabilizer. Most impressive aspect to me was how they got the dang thing to Oregon from Long Beach, and then over the road to its current home.

Here's a pic of the co-pilot and myself. This was one of those occasions where she reluctantly came along out of a sense of obligation but ended up being quite impressed.

That happens quite regularly with my girlfriend and me. One of us will be excited about an exhibit or something and the other goes along because it's what we do, and either she or I will end up enjoying the event or exhibit as much or more than the one who was most motivated to see it.
