Do you really think the Monkees had more talent then the Beatles?

I personally think the Beatles were far ahead of their time, and if they all could be together performing today, they would perhaps be the best of the best on the charts and record sales.

When I view the "greats" of Rock or Pop music, I view how they wrote, performed songs. Although the Monkees sold a lot of albums, Chevy sold more cars then Rolls Royce, Art Vans sold more furniture than Levitz, Nike sold more shoes than Mason, Mezlan, Alden, and perhaps all the shoe industry. But the "sales" of product never really over rides what product is better.

Do I admire and appreciate the music the Monkee's did? Yep. Some good stuff. But in my opinion, as for talent, the Beatles leave the Monkee's in the dust.
