I was a bit surprised as well, it was quite good. I was half expecting something funny, like when the Austin Lounge Lizards did a country version of Pink Floyd's Brain Damage! lol
While listening to that version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps I stumbled across the version performed by Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Dhani Harrison (George's son), Jeff Lynne, Billy Preston, Tom Petty and others in a tribute concert to George.
