Thedi Leathers, Greece?

I note that this Greek leather company has been discussed on the FL before, although it seemed to sort of trail off.

They make some nice (looking, anyway) numbers, particularly the two A1 style pieces: I'm looking for an A1 to add to my collection.

Anyone had any dealings with them? Thoughts on the jackets?

I dig the belts, too. Recently bought an antique brass buckle in Greece –*still quite a few of them around, whereas elsewhere we're mainly talking coated steel.

I travel to Greece quite often and it does produce some beautiful artisanal items of the sort that many FLers would probably appreciate. Sadly, the economic crisis is sending many such manufacturers to the wall.

Hello,

I have a Thedi Café racer, the experience of purchasing the jacket a positive one, the jacket excellent and I would highly recommend the company.

I have too many jackets and the café racer is my favorite.

Take a look on the Thedi web site for contact details, I believe they have a shop, maybe when you next travel to Greece, if you are close enough, you can arrange to see jackets.

I just received some leather samples from Theo last week. Very impressive, check out Thedileathers his facebook page if you haven't already. I think Thedi is the best deal going for the style of jacket your interested in.

Their jackets are definitely interesting, but it would be nice if there was pricing and ordering info on their site.

Novos, I emailed for pricing and got a quick response. My impression was haggling would be acceptable –*which makes sense given continuing conditions in Greece.

Others, how would workmanship compare with e.g. Aero, Goodwear, Himel Bros?

I really like the look of the suede and it would stand out nicely among my jackets (two of which –*Aeros –*I have barely begun to break in, so in truth don't need another ... but who gives a fig for truth?).

This is a beauty of an A1. Look at it: https://www.facebook.com/173951949357461/photos/pcb.607967852622533/607967799289205/

SJ - thanks for the info. Just curious, what kind of price range are we talking?

I really really like the two-tone leather denim combo biker jacket(link), but I'd like a darker leather accent. Anyone think that a black leather might look ok, much like this vintage Harley below. I know that generally navy blue and black aren't considered good colour combos.

Thurston bros sell their cafe racers and they seem pretty impressed with them, maybe shoot them an email for some samples? I emailed Theo a few months ago, and he answered everything quickly, and was good to deal with.
