if you are looking for input, I think the shoulder and chest and body width and length and neck hole can be a size smaller, but the sleeve is perfect, so when the shoulder is made narrower then the sleeve must be added.

the detail of the jacket is personal preferences, but since there is a lot going on already a tonal stitching might tone it down a bit?

I'm not sure but I think this is one of Thurston bros stock jackets?
I think the overall fit is good. It's just the body length. Like @Will Zach said, a cross zip looks best if it's short. Imo this jacket would look much better if it were at least an inch shorter.
If I were you I would return this one. It doesn't top your other two Thedi's so why have this one?

Thanks everybody! I appreciate the input. I think my photo angle is not favorable bc it looks longer than it is. Back length of this jacket is 25.5 inches but there’s a front drop which I actually like bc I often feel my jackets are too short — my highwayman for example. Even my Ridley I almost never wear unzipped bc the shorter length makes it look boxy IMO rather than slim. This design is a hybrid between a cross zip front and half belt back, which I think is important to recognize with respect to the length. It’s not a standard cross zip design.

Despite some of the criticisms, I’m leaning towards keeping it bc it’s unique, fun, beautiful, comfortable and is pretty different from my other Thedis or other pieces. Will think about it for another day and then decide. I am pretty picky in general but this just feels really good when I put it on. For me, my concerns are not the length or patch pocket, it’s actually whether the chest pocket is too prominent/long and the fact that the main brass zipper is pretty bright. Would prefer it antiqued. But again that’s when I look at it with a magnifying glass rather than zoomed out, where those things seem to be less of an issue.

And you should. If it feels good and you like it, who are we to tell you to return it.

If you like it wear it, I suspect the brass will get dull with time?

approx 5’11”, 171 lbs, usually between a 40 and 42 chest and 32-33 waist.

I'm 5'11 as well. The Evander I was wearing on the photo I shared in my previous post had a back length of 24.25

I'm 5'10", 190 lbs, 42" chest, 36" waist, so similarly sized I guess.

Great decision to keep the jacket though! It's a real stunner and definitely unique.
