Thedi Evander - somebody please stop me!

Ok this will probably be my last Thedi post for awhile since I just got three and the madness needs to stop...

Thedi Evander in goatskin/Large, ordered through Carrie at TB. What do you think? It’s the most snug fitting of my Thedis but still comfortable. Only concern I have is whether I would prefer the cognac Hector to this one... if anybody has both and can comment on how they fit please let me know.

I’m not keen on that angled chest patch pocket. Looks like the two chest pockets should trade places and the patch pocket set level. Rest of it looks good. Great color!

I don't like how the bottom hem flares out. Patch pocket on chest seems squeezed on, large zipped chest pocket makes it look too busy for the casual jacket it is. If this had only the two handwarmer pockets and an additional inch taper down towards the waist, I'd call it perfect.

Nice leather, nice color, too long for my taste. But maybe that should be with this model. Chest pockets are worth discussing, but like so much a matter of taste.

Too long. Cross-zips need to be short due to their riding heritage.

I for one like it! Looks good. Interesting pocket set up but certainly something I don't mind. If you like it, keep it for sure.

Not keen on the chest pocket - maybe its the angle but it seems to throw out the pattern and it does appear a bit too long for that style.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m actually surprised, which is a good thing. My hand and phone are blocking the center of the jacket. This is the photo from TB so you can see the full front and proportions. It’s a half belt, which is why there’s a small cinch and flare but it’s really subtle in person. Also, the back length is about an inch or so shorter than the front, which changes the feel and whole body look of the jacket.

I see what you mean. Thedi's halfbelt all seem to have this flair although I've also seen one example without the it. When I got mine, I disliked the flair. But I have to admit that it has grown on me. Now I think it suits the overall look of the jacket, doesn't look odd. But if I could redo something I would have the bottom hem adjusted. Loosening the side straps helps by the way.

That is actually a matter of taste, but it is a Thedi Leathers Jacket that stands out from most deary jackets. By the way, that's also a reason why I got stuck with Thedi Leathers. In my opinion, Thedi makes the most beautiful proportions of the back. The half belt is perfectly placed at the right height. There are hideous other examples ...

I can understand that well! Since I bought my first Thedi Leathers jacket about a year ago, I have sold all other leather jackets apart from one FW jacket (Sunset). If you ever taste blood on Thedi Leathers jackets ... there is no point of return.

Just curious what your dimensions are. Chest, weight, height, waist, etc.
