Tonight at 9PM ET/PT on CBS

I was going through the Sunday paper today and I came across the tv section with a cover about a movie called "The Valley of Light". Here is the summary.

"The Valley of Light" Airs Sunday, Jan. 28th, 9pm ET/PT on CBS
Gretchen Mol and Chris Klein star in "The Valley of Light", based upon the novel by Terry Kay. Klein plays Noah Locke, a veteran who returns from World War II to find that the life he knew no longer exists. His parents have died, his brother is in prison, and the family farm has been sold. Lost in more ways than one Noah wanders the backroads of the South until a stranger (Robert Prosky) directs him towards a place called The Valley of Light. There Noah meets a mute boy (Zach Mills) and a young widow (Mol) named Eleanor. Slowly Noah begins to realize his place in the Valley of Light and the part he is to play in Eleanor's life. Visit the official CBS site - See the Photos. "The Valley of Light" airs Sunday, Jan. 28th, 9pm ET/PT on CBS.

The pictures of Gretchen Mol and Chris Klein dressed in 40s era caught my eye. Haven't read the book but interested in watching for the hair and clothing anyway.

Housekeeping note: Three threads on this program merged into one.

Sorry! I did a search for the title and couldn't find a thread on the subject.

I watched part of the movie before th baby had a meltdown and wouldn't go back to bed. I didn't get too much into the plot because right off the bat it seemed like something that was going to make me sad and my emotions were already a little on edge today. I did however take the time to enjoy the hats!

Even after I told myself not to care about the movie, in come the hallmark commercials and they leave me with tears pouring out of my eyes. lol
