I couldn't resist. My size is fairly rare, and it was so cheap that I went for it. I have a brown corduroy blazer that I just recently picked up for a low $20.00 from a local Marshall's and, if this fedora's brown color is a match, then they're a match.

I know that corduroy is a fashion faux pas anymore, but I've always dug it. I know this hat is ugly :) I think that's why I like it so much. It's the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of fedoras.

Hopefully the 24" measurement is accurate!

It has a little something

Just get it smelling of cigar smoke and sweat an character abounds.lol

I think I got my cord jacket from a Marshall's too! ;)
Btw, I do not view courduy as a faux pas at all. I have pants and jacket that I wear (separately of course) and it looks great.
Here is a bit of corduroy inspiration for the uninitiated.

I dig it.

Its a nice alternative to the goorin bros hats at urban outfitters, which currently rule the stingy roost (maybe im just jealous that I wear a 7 5/8, and they have the "one size fits (sm)all' take on hats). pair that with a nice black sharkskin blazer, and i truthfully think it would look nice. Thats just this guy's opinion.

But think of the utility of that hat! Not only does it make you puke - it also serves as a perfect vessel for catching said puke! lol
I think they should use that as their main selling point, it would bode a lot better than that 'kid rock' garbage.
Hey, really now! I had a hat almost just like that! And I wore it almost everyday for a year!

Yeah, I was five when I got it at the Buffalo Zoo and it had more of stylish tiger stripe to it. But still...there's no need for this kind of slander!

Err.. was a bit poignant of me I suppose, but I meant it in a lighthearted manner; there is indeed a hat for every head, and there may very well be someone sporting that leopard hat around every day and loving it. The kid rock thing is just silly though lol it certainly doesn't scream 'buy this hat'.

Nah! Just me being sarcastic. But, in all honesty, I did own a hat like that...when I was five. And I did wear it almost everyday for a year.

My lord! What was I thinking!

Oh, yeah! I was five and my family dressed me like an old Jewish man from Miami named Murray!

Excuse me, I have to call my shrink...

I received the hat in the mail today. As you can see by the auction, it clearly states "THERE IS NO SIZE, BUT THE INSIDE OF THE HAT MEASURES 24 INCHES."

It does not measure 24 inches. It measures 21.5 inches.

How could anybody be that far off? How disappointing! This is my first eBay experience purchasing a hat and it may be my last.

that really is a huge ammount to be off by. maybe they measured the outside of the hat.
It's easy to get burned on the bay.

Especially when you're dealing with dumb people.

"INSIDE OF THE HAT" should be the inside of the crown.
They probably took it to mean the outside of the crown (perhaps reasoning that the "OUTSIDE OF THE HAT" is the circumference of the brim).

I'd remind them that people who actually wear hats wear the inside of the crown on the outside of their heads, translate 21.5" into a size, and ask them to take it back and refund you.
