Fort Worth is fixin' to be chilly and windy. I have a Borsalino velour set out to wear tomorrow!

North Texas is the windiest place outside of Chicago... paraphrasing Lance Armstrong...I remember.

I'm sure you'll be warm in the Borsalino!

I have been talking to my very talented buddy Harp Player Gene, I told him what I was after and here is the results...

While not a hat, I do think it fits in nicely in this forum.

I tried to wait till Monteagle... but damn.... its looks to good and I just cant help myself! :D
So all you that will be at Monteagle, expect to see this work of Genes!!:eusa_clap

Gene, I had no idea...you are one talented individual! I enjoy my moleskin sketchbooks, watercolors, and pastels....but your skills as an illustrator are seriously impressive! Love the way you pierced the circular layout with the wing/tail of the plane.

Stylish!

Awww, shucks guys - thanks!! :D

Here's another one I just finished for myself. This little Queenie is wearing something on her head so maybe I'm not too far off topic!? lol

The inspiration is that even when things aren't going the way I want, and even when I miss out on a lot of gig$ due to bad weather, at least I'm not suffering through the aftermath of an earthquake or dealing with roadside explosives, etc. All in all, even on a bad day, I am very lucky - and grateful for all I have. :)

Wow! I'm impressed! I'm also very impressed with the gathering of talents we have here on the lounge. It's pretty cool to watch the various talents coalesce to produce a finished product.

I know this is weak, but I didn't feel like paying $3.95 for the ad:
