Ha, alas I think I fall at just about every hurdle, bar requisite single status. The lack of ink on my body (for now) I expect you'd miss though, were you to catch me unclothed - I'm sure you'd be too busy marvelling in horror at the Marlowe corpse which, to be frank, has all the look of a pregnant twelve year old boy. lol

In that case ... after lunch with the prettiest Faythe on these boards, I may have to drive a couple hours south to take a certain Miss Pink to dinner. How about Greek? Grilled eggplant and ouzo?

Richard

I would take you up on that! Grilled eggplant, yum! But I'm not a big fan of booze.

I'll ask him if he wants a threesome with us. He'll say yes.

Oh my! Miss a few hours, miss a lot!

Maybe people are going back to the Golden Era like in The Beverly Hillbillies when Granny said Ellie Mae was ready for marriage when she was 14 and was afraid she'd be an old maid at 18.lol lol

I thought people were waiting longer to get married these days.

Ha....I was hanging out with a friend of mine today in and a snippit of our conversation was mentioned that a hundred years ago we'd all be considered old, and of course since I am older than he (by such an ancient 4 years lol) I'd be ancient! lol

At my age, my father had been married twice and sired two children...within eight years, he'd sire three more. Five kids by the time he was forty.

My mother had also married twice by the time she was my age.

The second marriage stuck for both of them. They were married(the first time) at the tender age of 21...if I'd done the same, I'd have been married for close to 10 years now. Considering how much I've changed in the past 10 years, I'm doubtful marriage would have been a good idea....still isn't, as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, people are getting married later. Which isn't a bad idea. You're more mature, you know who you are, and you're not likely to change much. Makes for a far more stable relationship. You're also (hopefully) wiser and more fiscally stable than you'd be at a much younger age, reducing the chance of conflict over money matters and major decisions.

...then again, there are a lot of people out there that don't(won't?) grow up. This could also affect statistics.

Of course, the fact that I have to go in for a total rebuild from the neck up every 10-15 years, and always come out of it a radically different person from going in, doesn't help me any...

OTOH, this would give Miss Right several cracks at creating the mind of a "designer sweetie" to her specs... see, being involved with a terminal headcase can have some advantages!lol
