Today it arrived.....stingy it is, but finally my first Knox, now searching for a Knox with a wider brim!!
The quality is very good of this one.

I got this off ebay for $37.86 to be exact (including shipping and taxes). It arrived today. The brim was severely bent towards the left rear, but I was able to steam it out pretty good. The brim is about 2 1/4" wide, the peak at the front of the crown is about 4 1/4" tall. I'm guessing this is late 1950s or maybe early 1960s, but I'd like to hear opinions on that. I really love this hat. I only wish I could find a 50s vintage felt that looks just like this and has these proportions.

Great Knox Twenty in 7 ¼ or 58cm. 5 ½” open crown and 2 ⅝” wide brim with a felted edge.

I don’t recall seeing a Knox Gay Prince style hat before. Size 7 ⅛ or 57cm, 2 ½” wide brim, and 5 ½” open crown. The suede finish is very nice and the hat shapes like dream.

This Knox Foxhound arrived a couple days ago. It’s showing its age a bit, but it’s still a looker. The felt is very thin and easily shaped dry. I would want to felt to be any thinner. Size is 7 ⅛ or 57cm. The brim is 2 ⅝” wide (two tone binding) and the open crown is 5 ¾”.

I took possession of my second-ever Knox today, and beyond the obvious fact that it's a Premier OR-clone, I have no idea of, nor even a clue how to guesstimate, a date. Any ideas, Oh Knowledgeable Ones? (Beneath the horsehair is a simple, narrow OR-style grosgrain ribbon),

1950's Knox straw. Has 2 3/8 brim. I was also drawn to this hat because it was sold in South Carolina, where I have deep family roots going back to about 1750 or earlier.
