Picked up this Resistol Dalworth today. It was a $20 hat in its day and appears to be of high quality. I’m looking forward to playing around with different creases and adding it to the collection.

Resistol 3X Beaver Las Vegas in the color Cordova. It’s a BIG hat: 7 ⅞ long oval or 63cm. It is a bit too big for me, and I don’t get to say that often. The open crown height is an honest 7 inches and the raw edge brim is 3 ¾ inches wide. It doesn’t appear to have ever been creased. There is some moth damage, but nothing too bad.

One of the lightest weight fedoras I’ve ever had this 2 3/8” welted/mode edge Resistol. Almost too easy to crease, haven’t steamed it yet I’ll wait till next fall when it comes out again.

This slick little fold up booklet was originally attached to inside of the sweat and was lying inside the original hatbox.

Fabulous hat. Resistol did such a great job on dress hats of this era

And a keeper: Resistol Beaver “135.” This hat arrived a few weeks ago but I never got around to adding it to this thread. It’s close to the perfect western me. It’s the Las Vegas in Silver Grey with a 3 ½” brim. Mule kicks front and back. The felt is buttery soft. The brim is firm, and the crown much softer. It fits as well as some of my custom hats too. Guessing this will s a mid to late 1960s hat. It even came with the original box the lid of which it is stirring on for the photos.

Glad you found one that will stick. Fine looking hat.

My hat arrived well-packaged and just as great as I had hoped. Doc @NewJack sure did me right! The open crown is something between 5 ½ and 5 ⅝ inches. I would have preferred a bit more, but the 2 ⅞” brim is just the ticket. Superb felt that is thin, dense, and creases like a dream.
