They are both Aero. The russet one was made in the 80s from buffalo. The other is made from seal italian mid-weight horsehide.

Sloan, do your A2s have high armholes? I feel my A2 is a bit snug under the armholes.

Yes, it does have a high arm hole, but that's how I like my A-2s - they're a summer jacket, so I tend to wear only t-shirts or thin tops under them.

Ok, got your point. Today I worn 3 garments under the A2, may be that's why it felt snugly Thanks for sharing. Too bad, it's too late then to wear the A2 here, it's minus 3, cold for it. But I've seen some pics on the Instagram of people wearing the A2 under a bigger jacket, cool.
