I was lucky to be part of a test audience for this movie.
Thoroughly enjoyable light fare.

Sandra Bullock is an Ice Queen boss who needs a Visa to continue working in the USA(She's Canadian). To maintain his ascending career, her over-worked assistant (Ryan Reynolds) must marry her. The USgovt smells a rat & is determined to expose the sham. When they fly off to meet his family for Granny's 90th birthday, the movie takes off.

Almost seems like this couldve been a dark abusive movie like Swimming With Sharks.
Instead, its a good 'date movie' that uses the premise's tension to fuel the fun. It wont change your life, but its a very pleasant diversion.

Good lord, I remember that film. I think I took my first date to see it (wearing, I'll add, a Banana Republic fedora. *chuckle*). I remember selling off some records to be afford the tickets. wow. I wonder if it's anything like what I remember.

$34 million opening weekend box office puts it at number one this week.
I didnt realize that Disney produced this film...
