I vote for the skinny tube. Now a question. Can this roll be done with any decent (i.e. Akubra Stylemaster) felt hat or only the finest quality? I'll want one in Europe in April but I fear my budget won't support a Powell.

Can you possibly explain the difference between long oval and German oval???

German oval is a long oval with a squared off forehead.

As of now, all future orders will have to be in regular oval sizes.
