hello everyone! :) i have just recently started getting into vintage modeling/pinup :) i wanted to get do it for a long time, but i worried my smile would somehow get in the way, but now that im confident that it wont hinder me im very excited to get started! :) i was just wondering if anyone had any tips for me :) i do the 1920's style pinup
here are some links to a few pictures that are great examples for the modeling style im going for

Im also not against the idea of nude and topless as long as they are classy because iv seen allot of because ones from the 1920s that inspire me, but i would like some feedback on this particular subject. :) here are some of those 1920s pictures that inspired me to consider doing that

[Links deleted due to Lounge policy on nudity.]

i wouldn't want to do allot of pictures like that, but im not against having a few :) id like to know some your opinions on this through :)

I'm very new to pinup modeling so any advice and tips would be amazing! :)

best wishes to all,
TheRitzyFlapper

The links you attached are great examples. I would say use old photos like that as inspiration. That is what I am doing with my new art series. But yes, keep it classy.

I can't believe it has been 8 years since the last post on this thread! I mean, I guess I can since it's been awhile since I have taken any pinup photos myself. I wanted to share this one that I thought some of you all would enjoy. You can see a few more at my blog Vintage Starlet. Nothing too risque... just a Sleepy Time Gal!

perfection! great photo! I love pinup art of the 30s and 40s and have an sizable collection of George Petty and Alberto Vargas pinups framed up on my walls in my vintage office. keep them coming! :) (I've been spending time reviving old dead threads myself... not sure what happened here.... I guess I'm late to the original vintage party :D )

Well, I'm so damn old here... I am part of the original vintage FL party! I'm just trying to get conversation going again like it did in the "good ol' days" of the Lounge. Ahahhaha

beautiful! indeed this is the perfect thread. These certainly fall into the pinup /glamour /vintage catagory. thanks for sharing these gorgeous pics!

I am so happy you enjoy them. I really hope other gals start posting some photos soon too. I have a couple more I want to post but I don't want to turn this into the Lolita Haze Vanity thread! Ahahaha

Time and again Loungers have told me not to worry when I have posted more than most in a thread. If you want an example just scroll down this link.

So don't get any hang ups, you are not only photogenic you also have a talent for posting well. You are not one to repeat yourself, rather you describe your posts in a way that makes it a good read for others. And who knows, you might just inspire some confidence in other ladies. Loungers are not noted for opprobrium so just go for it.

Thank you! It's funny you say that because afterwards I thought it kind of reminded me of this Rita Hayworth photo!

Being uncharacteristically honest: I’m a fan. We are all rational human beings who acknowledge that there is nothing wrong with being human. In fact, being a breathing person comes with (hopefully) much needed moments of validation, acceptance and belonging. Carry on, ladies. You are amazing! I respect you, gently admire you (very gently) and envy you. In the best possible sense. The added “vintage” touch is an absolute bonus. :)
