Was looking around on eBay and came across this Pilgrim hat with the same checkerboard size tag as my "Repell-X" hat. I always thought Lee manufactured Pilgrim hats but judging by the size tag, would you guys say Adam manufactured this hat? Very strange.

I don't know if it's technically an "other" Open Road, but I've just bought a Made-for-Sheplers-by-Stetson "Tulsa" in silverbelly off of ebay for my 5-year-old who thinks my new Campdraft should be his. I found an eight-page catalog spread for Sheplers in an old Field & Stream magazine which included the following listing:

SHEPLERS OWN "TULSA"
This hat style is worn by more westerners and non-westerners than any other hat made. You might call it "The Open Road" or "LBJ" but we call it "Tulsa". It's styled with a 2¾" brim with a bound edge. Dress weight felt. Comes in almond or silver belly.

Piggybacking on the OR conversation, does anyone have suggestions for where to order wind trolleys/cords that can be added to the hats listed above? I have a modern Strat I'd like to add one to for that "vintage" vibe.

Shudde Bros Open Road clone

Have one identical from Shudde Bros. purchased off the bay a few years ago. It is labeled 7 1/8 but barely makes 6 7/8. Can't blame the seller but, is useless to me. I don't believe it shrunk, just mislabeled. Beautiful hat, pristine as yours and when I can devote some time to figuring out how to post photos once again I'll do so.
