It's a real beauty! I like the color too. I've got a similar hat, which I've got in a Matt Dillon sort of crease I call "The Marshall."

Very nice hats guys. I acquired my first Nutria, (about a month ago?), a gift from John Galt. It started life as a size 7 1950s Stetson Nutria Quality Western. There were some issues with the brim so John G. resized it and converted it over to a fedora and gave it to me. The tall straight sided crown sports a Center Dent crease and a medium brown 1 3/4 wide ribbon with a double bow, the stitching on the bow work is hidden. The brim is 2 3/4 inches wide. John's work is definitely impressive...Here's a picture of the hat and a few angle shots of me wearing it. I really like the Nutria felt...Thanks again John...

Terry, it looks great on you, and I really like the bow you put on it - it sure brings out that "Belgium Belly" color!

There goes another western...

True, there goes another hat that would have been used to work in the yard and to wear while you change the oil in your car and eventually end up a dirty ragged mess and totally thrown away. Now it has been given a new chance in life to live on for another few decades or more. But I understand your love of the wide brims and you have some great looking ones.
