Guy Clark is a long-time country singer songwriter from Texas. Tom Russell's music pulls on Western influences with a folk/rock flair, as does Robert Earl Keen. I like all types of music!

Jerry Jeff is the man. Can't count the number of times I saw him play when I went to college in Austin. "Viva Terlingua" and "Ridin' High" are two of my favorite country albums of all time. He was a kick to see live back then, in his pre-clean and sober days, even when he'd forget half the lyrics, he and his band put on such a fun show nobody even cared. Frank

Frank, I bet we were at some of the same shows. I went to school in Austin in the late 70's. My friends and I went to see him whenever he played.

Jacky Jack could always pull off a cool looking hat.

I remember back in the late 70's real early 80's when the police in Memphis stopped him for the umpteenth time. They told him they would let him go if he would never come back to Memphis.
I'm not sure but I believe it was in the last few years that he finally played a show there.
