I find this image interesting. Early streamliner diesels were starting to be featured on the premier passenger trains of the mid to late 1930s. The Burlington Zephyr of 1934 seems to be the inspiration of this small excursion train in a amusement park. Really a cool image...Yay Bob!

Wow, I didn't know he was an Alabaman.
I also didn't know Buck Jones died in the Cocoanut Grove fire in Boston in 1942.

Yeah, Perry. He played for UA in the 1926 Rose Bowl against the Washington Huskies, the first southern team to ever play in that game.

Here is a pic I posted of him some time back after he was named player of the game.
