Jake, you remember filling out any paperwork after?

Nope---no paperwork after.

I kind of block out most of it, but I do remember the nurses
(all female) were very pretty that I mentioned to them before going into
the “Twilight Zone”...
“Gosh---I am surrounded by angels that if or when I wake up,
I might think, I’m in heaven!”
A comment which made them all

Had Polo been there, I'm sure he would've said---
"Hey Jake---what makes you think you're going up & not down?"

Perhaps for some, it may have been a
memory screen.
Not for me.
But as you know everyone has different experiences.
I feel sorry for those who had a guy with a finger like ET.

Before I was completely under I made a joke (which I no longer remember) to which the 350# nurse in her most sarcastic tone replied, "Do you have any idea how many times a month we have to hear that stale old line?" To which I tucked my tail & replied, "I'll bet you do."

In all my experiences at clinics or hospitals, I have never had a nurse that was sarcastic or not nice to me.
Perhaps you have to work on your words,
timing or delivery.

asked for it.
I reckon I was saying what works for me.
I know that way back when I worked
in retail business, I had to deal with all
kinds of atitutudes that came from somewheres else and dumped it on
yours truly.
I made it a challenge to turn the situation
around and see them smile, which in turn
made me smile. Is all.

I went from 200 to 179 in less than 2 weeks.
Monday should start procedures for inserting a tube up my nose and all the
way to my stomach to determine if I
have a stomach ulcer which is causing me
not to eat. I'm drinking water to stay hydrated but that's not enough.
I confess, I'm using Fedora to distract from my stomach and lower back pains.
Getting weaker, if I don't reply, please
understand why.
If I see a guy with ET finger... I'm
jumping out the window!
Wish me luck that it's only ulcers and
not something worse.

I'm sorry to just learn of this Jake. I've had an endoscopy before while awake (you have to be awake). Stay the course & you'll get thru it okay. Best of luck & please keep us advised.

Will keep you and those treating you in prayer. Not knowing and worrying makes pain and illness all the worse. Soon you will have resolution of that then recovery.
What seems overwhelming to the patient is everyday work for the medical people. You just have to let them.
