Am I the only poster who has a spiritual commitment to the apellation "Martini" for gin, vervouth and an olive? (bitters may be allowed, as they were used in the 40's and before but almost never now, except for my 90 year old mum who will make one twice a year using a dash of bitters for old time's sake).
No, you are not alone. It's just that this is so outrageous that it seems redundant to even go over the whole "gin is what is used in a Martini" thing.
