Here is a slate-blue heather early Mallory I just received from Justin aka @splintercellsz. The photos are a bit more blue than it is. It has more of a gray tone than it shows on my display. The brim is only 2" so don't know if I will keep it but I wanted it in my grouping for a while. I have a hard time passing on early Mallory heathers.

If it was that blue it would be too good to be true, Bill. Nevertheless a fabulous hat.

Advice on a Mallory if someone can help. This is $75 from a local seller. I wanted a Homberg for my collection. Is $75 in the ballpark? Looks like a nice hat.

My finest hat ever is listed on eBay right now. Wish it fit me, but alas, It’s your style and size, if stretched just a tad. However, take a truck load of cash with you if you go. Rarity, top quality and, as you well know, large sizes ain’t cheap.
