Incredible! Wow. Anthony, that is a spectacular hat. Where on earth did you find it? Perfect color combo too.
our man Adrian ... the man has the gems

and the color is really great ... it is much more blue in person ... tough to photograph

I'll get some outdoor shots when I wear it

Excellent! I look forward to the outdoor pics.
MB does have the best hats. I don't know how I missed that one. It's a gem for sure. I like that perforated sweat and the mesh liner. Nice .

I picked this up recently and wondering if anyone can shed some light as to the model, felt quality, and rough age of the hat? Is it meant to be rollable? Is the front brim meant to sit flat? The rest of it snaps except the front. Despite being pretty soft felt, I don't want to do anything harsh to it.

There hasn't been a single source stating what Aristocrat Quality equates to, just bits, pieces and guesses. The department store on the sweatband lasted from 1927-1981 so that narrows it down to 54 years.

It will visit the local hat shop to see what they think and a possible sweatband re-stitch plus smoothing out the crown. Its a little worn; besides showing creases, it doesn't hold its shape very well nor does it crease well dry.

On Monday, August 16, 1965, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for MALLORY NOKABOUT by John B. Stetson Company, PHILADELPHIA 19122. The USPTO has given the MALLORY NOKABOUT trademark serial number of 72225828. The current federal status of this trademark filing is EXPIRED (1/26/1989).

I hope this helps.
