Nice Color Combo!!!

I really like the light tan with medium brown ribbon; those make nice hats. That close-up of the side of the hat really shows off the texture of the beaver; really nice hat, JPMcAdara.

So here it is!! My contribution to the Major Moore fedora thread!! Just a little bit of background; I asked for a thin ribbon because I really like the look that RBH has on his fedoras.

The problem was that when I got it with this color (Sahara) it almost looked like an "outdoorsy"...
I sent it back to Mike to have him try a different ribbon ......

..he had acquired some vintage ribbon (brown) that was between 50-70 years old......

Your hat body had to be ordered and made at the plant, they don't stock those lite weight bodies, got the first one in and it ripped pulling onto the block, had to reorder and wait again, yours should be leaving in a few days coming to you.

Thanks, Mr. Paladin!! I really gave Mike very little instruction on what I wanted. He was the one that came up with the color and the brim size. This was my first real fedora and I really was not sure what I wanted. Mike was a true pro from begining to end!!

I swear, RBH, that thin ribbon that you use most of the time just looks killer!!! That really was my inspiration for my first fedora. I had two people tell me though, that it looked like a safari hat on me. Maybe a darker hat would look better on me!!

Indycop, hat looks good on you, thanks for letting me reshaping your cowboy hat.

This hat had a nice tight feel to it, also it shaped very easy, this is another good western hat, that should not be judged as hard and heavy as a rock, Indycop found a nice ole hat.
