There is this shop on etsy, which does a couple great repro sweaters http://www.etsy.com/shop/greetzfromtiz

You can always use the Alchemy function on etsy to request custom knit sweaters from vintage patterns (which you can also buy on etsy in pdf). I have done this, and continue to do it, with great success.

I recently picked up a few vintage books of crochet/knit cardigans.
One is Hats, Bags, and Bulky Sweaters. Star Hat and Bag Book No. 107. I about fell out.
Unreal lovely items. I just may have to get someone to make me my Emerald Green cashmere beaded cardigan if possible or something out of this book.

I definitely need a few more vintage sweaters as it's getting COLD already! I have some, maybe eight or so. Got this beaded, pearl and sequin one recently.
