Born in Uruguay Julio Sosa (1926-1964) is my favorite tango singer in this world, after him comes Carlos Gardel.

Sosa was one of the most amazing voices tango had!

And this is my favorite song "Nada" (Nothing")

this is the translation in English

Nothing (1944)
lyrics by Horacio Sanguinetti

I’ve arrived at your house—I don’t know how I’ve managed to.
Yes, they’ve told me you’re not here, that you’ll never come back—
yes, they’ve told me that you’re gone.

There’s so much snow in my soul, so much silence at your door—
when I came to the threshold
a bolt of sorrow
detained my heart.

Nothing, nothing remains
in the house where you were born
only cobwebs woven by the weeds
The rosebush isn’t there either—
I’m sure it died when you left—
everything is a burden.

Nothing, nothing more than sadness and silence,
no one to tell me if you’re still alive.
Where are you?
I want to tell you that I’ve returned repentant
to seek your love.

The great Hugo del Carril seen here performing Carlos Gardel's signature tune Mi Buenos Aires Querido.. He even portrayed Gardel in a 1939 biopic about the tango legend.

Jose "Pepito" Lopez enjoyed an illustrious career, singing and playing trumpet in some of the most successful Latin bands of the '30s like Rafael de la O, Nano Rodrigo, and Juanito Sanabria.

Tango is great! I don't know how to dance it well but it's so much fun!!!!:p :D

This is from Carlos Gavito who started to dance in 1956. He was one of the last one of the last symbols of the “Milongueros" era, now in extinction. He said, "dance the music, not the steps. Anybody who pretends to dance well never thinks about the step he's going to do, what he cares about is that he follows the music. You see, we are painters, we paint the music with our feet."

I enjoy this art form both as a dancer and as an admirer of those, who like Gavito, who could "paint the music with his feet.":D
