I'm not a big fan of this skirt. Reminds me of the prints on 70s maxi dresses. Or maybe Pippi Longstocking?
Ugg...aweful!

I would LOVE that skirt...as a pot holder.

You wear sanfordized stuff everyday. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanforized
As for those jeans, I just made a pair(s) a lot like them! lol

I think my mother has that pot holder! And in the same fabric pattern she has the 70's answer to a snuggie, which is kind of like a short and odd sleeping bag for half a person.
I think the 70s ruined a lot of things that originated in the "golden era". lol!
Hey sheep lady I think I remember my older sister having one of those too it snapped up the front and had a bad patchwork print like the pot holder skirt (only not as bright)
Fascinated, repelled, hypnotized all in the same breath
Are you sure that isn't a re-purposed toilet roll cover? Maybe whoever put this on the head got confused...
The bust has kool-aid lip! lol

OMG! The first garment I ever sewed was overalls very similar to the checkered pair, in green floral quilting cotton. UGH! I thought I was so cool. I wore it with a matching floppy hat, a la Blossom.A little before "Golden Era" (1918), but still ugly. Ugly "bubble pants." Didn't these make a comeback in the 1980s? lol
