I'm still in favor of keeping the womens threads women only, minus the front parlor this thread works wonders in keeping the men gentlemen
I agree with the slowness in being able to try and type a response. I was in another thread and typed out a long response and do to the slowness in typing I was kicked off of the thread and not able to post my reply. The page kept refershing the ads.
I do not mind the ads but can these ads please stop refreshing themselves.
That is EXACTLY my problem, too. Is there any way to block or remove all those ads? They are slowing my system, and making it hard to read the thread.
Perhaps a PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP? At this point, I would be glad to pay a yearly fee for an ad-free environment.
The ads appear to have priority so we're only one step away from Photobucket syndrome.
It's been mentioned here before, but you have my sincere respect and gratitude for not only maintaining this site regularly, but also for having to deal with the various problems that arise during these upgrades while trying to appease the members and keep us happy at the same time. I know it can be frustrating even under the best circumstances, so thank you for doing it.Looking into what we can do about the jumping.
I was surprised by how effective it was when I installed Adblock Plus on my browsers a year or two ago. I'd say it eliminated at least 95% of the ads I used to see, and some websites won't allow you to view their content unless you disable it, but I'm fine with that. This was on my laptop though; I don't know if they make a version for portable devices. What an IDIOT I have been. I never considered an ad-block would do any good.... I just installed uBlock on Firefox, and WOW, no more jitters and constant ads. I'm glad I started reading this thread. Thanks, guys!
Personally, I enjoy the overall experience here too much to complain about the interface.
The only notable difference for me (beside the visuals) is that the mobile side is a little clunky. The desktop version functions flawlessly for me with ad blocker installed (chrome).

Below your post on the left is 3 bars. Click on it and a dropdown menu opens enabling you to edit. Can we no longer edit a post once we've published it?
I have that on my comments. On my post, I see the "hamburger" menu but the only option in it is to report my own post.Below your post on the left is 3 bars. Click on it and a dropdown menu opens enabling you to edit.
