I was thinking the other day about loose-end murder cases that we'd not heard about in a long time, and this one was at the head of the list. It got huge coverage for a week or so, and then nothing. And for those of you who watched "Boardwalk Empire," Nocky Johnson is the real-world inspiration for Nucky Thompson.
We don't often look in on the News' society column, but it does tend to be a good bit livelier than what you find in the Eagle.
How about the "Manhattan Killjoys?"
