A decent Dobbs Twenty in gray arrived today. It's not perfect but is in good condition. It appears to be a bit of a vintage Dobbs.

I came across this hat and tried to persuade a couple people to buy it, but no takers. It was listed for way too much, but I “liked” it anyway. The seller made me a couple bucks gets and the last was under the price I had set for myself, so here it is: A size 7 ⅛ or 57cm Whippet styled fedora with generous proportions: 2 ¾” wide brim and 5 ¾” open crown. The colors are striking, but to my eye stop short of going over the top. I don’t think I’ll have a problem finding it a home.

I snagged this freshly listed beauty off eBay for cheap
Other than a missing tip sticker and a bit of verdigris it is in great condition.



The crown is 4 1/2 inches as creased and the brim is 2 5/8 inches. 143 grams. Nice fine braid.
The pug alone is worth the 30 bucks paid.
Mid fifties is my estimate on age. Any thoughts or opinions welcome!
