If the hat looks as good inside as out I'm sure it would go north of $100 US. Some of the prices for hats now have escalated significantly since I started buying on Ebay. Much desired Strats, Whippets and the like are easily in the $200s and one seller lists most of his over $250-$300. Occasionally you can find an off-brand very nice hat for a bargain. I've pretty much stopped buying as my closet is full, although I may opt for a custom every year or so.
For comparison, here is a silver beaver 50 from Frank T. Stack (made by Maclachlan) from about the same time. I shaped it in much the same way as the Knox 100. Also a tasty morsel. I have never handled a felted edge which equalled the finish quality of that Knox 100.
