I just picked up a Schott N-1 deck jacket with duck down insulated lining. It’s super-warm, very comfortable and has a great mix of classic and updated styling. Nor are they overly expensive. They’re available in green or blue. Highly recommended!

I had the same. Super warm. Only winter jacket you’d Need most places.

That’s really strange because I’m on average a small 36 and the Buzz N-1 I got in 36 was too small for me! Now mine wasn’t a hook model, so maybe that’s where the sizing manual got lost…

Literally just took delivery of a Bronson N-1 (3rd Type). I'm a pretty solid 40 who usually wears medium. I bought a L (40) in Bronson and it is a perfect fit. I haven't tried it with a sweater/sweatshirt underneath yet, but the initial fit seems great. Haven't even worn't it outside yet, but am very happy.

Here's an 80's vintage jacket that I picked up a few months ago. I put a USS Tarawa stencil on back and a USMC HMLA-367 attack helicopter squadron patch up front. This squadron served aboard the Tarawa for awhile in the 80's & 90's, although the patch is an earlier example from the late 60's - 70's.

I plan on wearing this one a bit this year and then putting it up for sale.

anybody grab one of these yet from Bronson? Was getting really close to ordering the N1 Deck Jacket and then saw this submarine version. Main difference seems to be 100% wool vs blend and also the wool doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the jacket. And no USN stencil. Probably better for me living in Los Angeles with the half back liner coverage. But it's also almost double the price.
