Nice work guys. Here is a recent restoration I did for a lounger . It is an old Knox with an embroidered liner. He wanted the hat to be modeled after Bogarts fedora in the Big Sleep. I flipped felt inside out as original was faded badly on top. Added a new grosgrain ribbon and had to re sew the overwelt after flipping felt inside out , Also gave it a gas bath and cleaned liner.

Thanks Manfred . That's my first video so it was a challenge editing it down as I had 1 1/2 hrs of video!

Scott, This is truly fine work. That old Knox was really rough but, it came came out beautiful. From seeing
the photos of your other restorations, I knew that the sweatband would be fine, but I had no idea that the feltcould ever look like that again.

Thank You, Dave

Thanks Dave . I enjoy having and doing this work and being able to salvage a good hat in the process .
Manfred, longer video takes a real long time to upload , but if there is a way to get you the full video I'd be happy to share it .

For the full, you could create a 'youtube' account, and post them there. As long as your account stays in good standing (you should have no issues), you can upload super long videos.

Great work, Scott! Perfect!

Thanks Scott. A pity. But as Justin says, maybe youtube can show the full video!
