This thread seems to have gone quiet. Here's today's ensemble featuring a Five Points cap up top, in a vintage wool received in a fabric swap with Johnny C.

Too warm to wear, but I just received this AmiCharnel Harris Tweed cap.

I know, blue with green and all that...
Pfff, "experts". I've never once looked at a beautiful green tree framed by a clear blue sky and thought, "Oh, no, those colors don't go together at all."

I like the cap, and I think both the color and shape suit you. Wear it whenever you want with whatever you want, and ignore the naysayers.

Yep, livin’ on the edge wearing green and blue together. Mothers cover their children’s eyes when I walk by. [emoji4]

With all the custom cap makers out there now, I'm curious if anyone has ever had this one cloned. Seems like it would be pretty straightforward, if you could source the olive drab herringbone twill material.
It's not an exact duplicate, but Lounger @DanielJones had a similar cap (two, actually) made a few years ago. It appears he had the advantage of having the materials on-hand, but if you can locate the HBT there are probably a number of cap makers who can re-create it for you, or at least come close.

That's fabulous, thank you! I've dealt with B!Wear in the past and enjoyed the experience. Now the question is just where I can find olive-drab HBT.

Hi, all. I posted on FL several years ago, but it looks like my registration lapsed and I don't remember my old username. So I'm new again. Good to be back.

I like the newsboys I'm seeing here. I've always gone straight to ivy caps, because I assumed that newsboys would be baggier than I could pull off. But the AmiCharnel and Monsivais caps look like something I could wear. I'm close to ordering one.

I own 3 AmiCharnel caps and think the quality he provides at his price point is outstanding. I have two made to order with the leather sweat and one off the rack sale cap. All are great caps. One things he does that I love is his use of thick leather as the stiffener in the bill of the cap. I would describe them as medium full bodies. A little fuller (more fabric) than say the Peaky Blinders style. Stu is a great guy to work with and his turnaround is pretty quick.

Imagine my excitement when I learned that Eastman Leather Clothing is reproducing the A-2 cap (more or less)!
